2 Chronicles 26:5
KJV—He [Uzziah] sought God in the days
of Zechariah, who had understanding in
the visions of God: and as long as he
sought the Lord, God made him to prosper.
Amp—He [Uzziah] set himself to seek God
in the days of Zechariah who instructed
him in the things of God; and as long as he
sought [inquired of, yearned for] the Lord,
God made him prosper.
Moffatt—He [Uzziah] steadily worshipped
God during the lifetime of Zechariah, who
gave instruction in religion, and as long
as he worshipped the Eternal, God gave
him success.
NIV—He [Uzziah] sought God during the
days of Zechariah, who instructed him in
the fear of God. As long as he sought the
Lord, God gave him success.
2 Chronicles 31:21
KJV—In every work that he [Hezekiah] began
in the service of the house of God, and
in the law, and in the commandments, to
seek his God, he did it with all his heart,
and prospered.
Amp—Every work that he [Hezekiah] began
in the service of the house of God, in
keeping with the law and the commandments
to seek his God, inquiring of and
yearning for Him, he did with all his heart,
and prospered.
Moffatt—Whatever he [Hezekiah] undertook
in the interests of the temple of God,
the law, and the commands of God, by way
of worshipping his God, he did it with all his
heart, and prospered.
NIV—In everything that he [Hezekiah]
undertook in the service of God’s temple
and in obedience to the law and the commands,

wholeheartedly. And so he prospered.
Job 36:11
KJV—If they [the righteous] obey and
serve him [God], they shall spend their days
in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.
Amp—If they [the righteous] obey and
serve him [God], they shall spend their days
in prosperity, and their years in pleasantness
and joy.
Moffatt—If they [the righteous] will hear
